Toast is recruiting on behalf of this company for a Business Operations Manager to lead critical initiatives across finance, recruiting, systems, and general operations. This is a high-impact role for someone energized by fast-paced environments and eager to build scalable systems in a growing tech company.

As they continue to grow, they are seeking a driven and solutions-focused operations leader to ensure the business scales effectively.
 

Responsibilities


Finance & Compliance
 
  • Oversee monthly financial reporting, payroll, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Manage expense tracking, financial compliance, and payment platforms (e.g., Stripe)
  • Maintain accuracy of financial systems including QuickBooks and Google Sheets
  • Recruiting & People Operations
  • Lead end-to-end recruiting: sourcing, outreach, job postings, and coordination with recruiters
  • Run weekly recruiting metrics and strategy meetings
  • Ensure seamless onboarding and training processes
  • Maintain team OKRs and internal communications slide decks

Systems & Office Management
 
  • Design and implement scalable internal processes and systems
  • Automate workflows for greater efficiency using tools like HubSpot and Google Workspace
  • Oversee office operations including mail handling, cleanliness, and inventory


General Business Operations
 
  • Own day-to-day execution of operational tasks across departments
  • Manage vendor and insurance provider relationships
  • Proactively identify and solve operational bottlenecks
 

Requirements

 
  • 5–7+ years of experience in an operational role, ideally within a startup
  • Hands-on experience with recruiting and onboarding
  • Strong track record of streamlining systems and driving process improvements
  • High proficiency in QuickBooks, Stripe, HubSpot, Google Sheets/Slides
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize, execute, and lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and results-driven
