Description

Toast is recruiting on behalf of this company for a Full Stack Software Engineer with a deep focus on backend integrations for financial data. This role is essential to building a secure and scalable wealth management platform, integrating with banking data providers like Plaid, SaltEdge, MX, and Meld. The company is looking for an experienced engineer who is excited to develop secure, efficient connections between systems and is passionate about the intersection of fintech and user-focused design. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure APIs and backend services to integrate third-party banking platforms

  • Write robust, maintainable, and test-driven backend code using TypeScript, Node.js, and Python

  • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployments using AWS infrastructure

  • Ensure integrations are scalable, resilient, and maintain a high level of security

  • Collaborate with team members across product and engineering to improve financial data workflows

     

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in backend or full stack development, particularly in financial data integrations

  • Strong experience with API design and implementation (RESTful and GraphQL)

  • Proficient in TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and modern testing frameworks

  • Solid background working with both SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases

  • Deep understanding of AWS infrastructure and CI/CD best practices

  • Experience in fintech, banking, or wealth management environments is highly preferred

  • A problem-solver with the ability to think critically and prioritize in a fast-moving setting
