Description

Toast is recruiting on behalf of this company for a full-time QA Engineer to help uphold the quality of a dynamic and impactful product in the wealth management space. This company is looking for a detail-oriented quality assurance professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional software experiences. The successful candidate will be committed to identifying and solving issues before they reach users, contributing meaningfully to product reliability, usability, and customer satisfaction.
 

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive manual and automated testing strategies for React-based applications

  • Develop and maintain test cases and scripts supporting backend functionality built with Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS

  • Write and maintain automated test suites using Cucumber and similar frameworks

  • Manage and enhance the CI/CD testing pipeline

  • Conduct integration, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing

  • Organize test structures using modern tooling and best practices

  • Support API testing and continuous improvement of integrations

  • Document test findings and conduct thorough root cause analyses

  • Collaborate with Product and Customer teams to evaluate, reproduce, and triage reported issues

  • Maintain traceability of QA efforts throughout the software development life cycle
     


Requirements

  • Experience testing complex web applications built with React, including knowledge of component architecture and state management

  • Familiarity with the financial services or wealth management domain

  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and understanding of reactive programming principles

  • Solid foundation in automated testing using JavaScript or Java

  • Experience testing third-party API integrations

  • Understanding of responsive design principles for cross-device functionality

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Effective communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset

  • Well-organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
